Assassin’s Creed Mirage Getting New Game+ and Permadeath

Ubisoft has just announced exciting news for Assassin’s Creed Mirage fans, with the announcement of a forthcoming free update in December that will introduce highly anticipated features: New Game+ and Permadeath mode.

The news revealed through a tweet on November 16, reflects Ubisoft’s responsiveness to the community’s urge for New Game+. The tweet:

Sweet and Short Affair? Not Anymore

Assassin's Creed Mirage

Previously in the Assassin’s Creed series, Mirage, despite its success, faced criticism for being relatively shorter than its contemporary RPGs. Labeled as a “Sweet and Short affair” by Gamer Stones, Mirage left players wanting more after completing quests and uncovering all the books and artifacts. However, with the introduction of New Game+, the game will undergo a remarkable transformation.

New Game+ will grant players the opportunity to revisit the vibrant city of Bagdad, embarking on a fresh journey with existing powers and upgrades, breathing new life into the gameplay experience.

More To Come

Beyond the New Game+ addition, players can also welcome a greater challenge with the inclusion of Permadeath mode. In this mode, a death results in a game over – a true challenge for skilled and pro players.

In short, you won’t respawn again if you die.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft, available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, iOS, Microsoft Windows, and Amazon Luna.
