Mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is coming to PC

Electronic Art’s mobile collectible RPG game, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is reportedly coming to PC. With improved performance and implementation of higher resolution settings, the PC port will support 60 FPS. The original mobile version has official support of 30 FPS.

While the official release date is not disclosed yet, Beta access for the PC will go live in May. Even though players were at liberty to utilize Android Emulators like Bluestaks to enjoy the game on PC, official support was missing. This shortcoming will be fixed with the adjusted layouts for the PC version.

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes’ PC port will support mouse and keyboard, and keyboard shortcuts as well. Unfortunately, no support for a controller is available, as of now.

In a report by Game Informer, developers said,

For those interested, can head to the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes website, sign up for the EA App, link their account, and they are now ready to register. There’s a dedicated registration page that can be found on the website the day registration begins! For those selected, you will be receiving an invite via email for access to the Closed Beta.

It is important to note that registration does not guarantee access to STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes Beta. Before registering, ensure that you have access to your STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes mobile account. Those who are considering starting a new game directly on PC, need to wait for the official release.

Users selected for beta testing can continue from where they left off on the mobile version, thanks to cross-save functionality. EA has clarified the updates will surface on both versions, simultaneously.

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is a strategy-based RPG game, released in 2015. Since then the game has enabled players to play with characters from The Mandalorian, Star Wars™: The Force Awakens, Rogue One™: A Star Wars™ Story, Star Wars™: The Last Jedi™, Star Wars™: The Bad Batch, and more.
