Marvel Rivals Announced, Close Beta in May

NetEase Games‘ Marvel Rivals, the premier SuperHero Team-based PvP Shooter game, begins Close Beta in May. Similar to Overwatch, 6v6 battles take place where MCU characters collide against one another.

During the Close Beta, a total of 19 characters have been confirmed for team formation. Certain characters such as Groot and Rocket Raccoon have Team-up skills for deadly destruction.

The theme is based on an epic battle between the mighty Doctor Doom who destroys countless universes and Superheroes who unite to save the whole multiverse from vanishing.

Marvel Rivals is an improvised version of Marvel: Contest of Champions with unique features that have already started to grab the attention of gamers. Also, the popularity of Marvel Games, such as Marvel Snap is increasing rapidly.
