Assassin’s Creed Red leak shows off the game’s Main Menu screen

Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed codename Red’s Main Menu screen has leaked online today. After images were posted on X’s (formally Twitter) profile GPT: Game Pass Tracker, the menu appeared, complete with Play Game, Selected Season, and lots more options.

The new Assassin’s Creed Red’s Main Menu appears quite distinctive with more options and functionalities. The images reinforce leaked menu is still under development, which is why we are seeing diverse options; Season, Performace, Demo, etc.

The image also gives us a glimpse of the Performance Profile [Xbox Series X Quality], look at the top left corner. While we may see that the game renders at 1800p 30FPS in Quality Mode, we can expect its elevation up to 60 FPS in Performance Mode.

All this information comes after the tweet, where the OP anticipated the Select Season option refers to live seasons. This also confirms the long-running rumor of Assassin’s Creed Red being a live-service title.

Most interestingly, the last option of Play Demo has garnered substantial focus. It might be referring to a Public Demo or upcoming gameplay peeks. In this regard, its very unlikely that the button will trigger a demo.

However, players are advised to take the news with a grain of salt, given the incredibility of the screen. The leaker has not shown the functioning of Main Menu, which also raises the concerns that the menu is a wallpaper.

Nonetheless, Assassin’s Creed Red is anticipated to make its official entry late this year. The core theme is set in Japan, and Assassin’s Creed Red will feature two playable protagonists; Naoe – an Assassin and an African samurai warrior. Samurai’s name is not revealed yet.

Given the codename Red, it is important to note that the game might not be released with the name Assassin’s Creed Red.
