A couple of days ahead of its Marvel Rivals release date, NetEase Games has released an official trailer that boasts five more playable characters entering the list. For reference, we know 28 of these characters, and as of now, we have a list of 33 Marvel Rivals known rosters launching with the game.
In the trailer, Til the End, you can see five new lineups: Squirrel Girl, Black Widow, Cloak & Dagger, Iron Fist, and Wolverine. The company has announced that each will be revealed in one trailer per day until the December 6th launch.
The trailer hints at the potential attacks of the characters, including a team of Hulk and Wolverine. One of the scenes displays Squirrel Girl turning Spider-Man web ball into an exploding slingshot projectile. And to mention, Black Widow and Hawkeye shooting aside.
More interestingly, Iron Fist looks certainly different. Not only is he manifesting a sword, but he also has Iron Fist Energy in green-blue form rather than the traditional golden-yellow color. The trailer demonstrates Iron Fist’s use of a blade in his right arm.
For reference, Iron Fist is a skilled martial artist and warrior who often wields a pair of Nunchucks and the sword of Fu Xi.

We don’t have official information on Iron Fist’s moveset yet, but we can make intelligent guesses from trailers. Iron Fist appears to be able to make a horizontal wall run and attack with a landing blow. Additionally, Iron Fist can perform extra jumps in mid-air. These jumps can be performed 3 times before touching the ground.

Pre-orders for Marvel Rivals will begin on December 4th on Steam and the official website, with a release date of 6th December. As for console players, downloading starts from December 6th 2024.
