It was a long development. In 2023, Team Jade revealed the development of an upcoming first-person tactical shooter for PC, consoles, and mobile. The highly anticipated global open beta of Delta Force for PC starts on December 5th.
For reference, Delta Force currently ranks in the top five most wishlisted games on Steam. This Delta Force is the latest installment of the classic series, and indeed, the expectations could stand up to the hype. The game looks stunning with its dynamic world, upgraded array of arsenals, and realistic environment.
Delta Force: New Maps and Operations
The developers have released a beta overview trailer, offering glimpses into the game and its new additions to its predecessors. In addition to Cracked and Ascension, Delta Force is launching three new maps: Threshold, Shafted, and Trench Lines.
The Threshold map is set in a vast, horizontal front. Each stage of the map forms a formidable line of defense, making it harder to trespass. The Shafted map is a complete infantry combat map battling vertical and horizontal lines. Interestingly, the core area of this map is a massive underground tunnel. The Trench Lines map hides a secret power station in the forest, and the operators are tasked with capturing a wind farm as a significant energy reserve.
As for operations, Delta Force includes Brakkesh, which is an urban combat map. Brakkesh is a coastal city in Ahsarah, where guards and helicopters heavily guard the whole city. The final boss of the map is Dr. R, the mastermind behind the helicopters.
Along with Brakkesh, we have Serpentine, a raid-focused Co-op PvE mode with four stages. Other maps include unique gameplay mechanisms like bomb disposal, breaching, or escort missions.
New Vehicle – MH-33D Recon Helicopter
The only new inclusion is the MH-33D Recon Helicopter. The driver’s seat has multiple weapons, including a Twin Machine Gun and Twin Autocannon as a primary weapon.
The secondary weapons include anti-personnel rocket missiles and air-to-ground missiles. In addition, this Recon Helicopter consists of a decoy flare to evade missile attacks and repair functionality.
New Operator – Medic Toxik
Medic Toxik operator embeds a Dragonfly Swarm System. This uses dragonfly-type drones to disrupt the enemy’s sensory functions. It can even impact the enemy’s heart rate or breath rate in severe cases. The system includes adrenaline activation, which provides impetus for reflexes and firearm control.
New weapons
The Open Beta supplies five brand-new guns to suit everyone’s gameplay style. The MP7 Submachine Gun is a compact personal defense gun with extremely deadly automatic firepower.
The PSG-1 Marksman Rifle is a semi-automatic sniper rifle with high precision that is compatible with a few modifications. The next one is the CI-19 Assault Rifle, the latest rifle tech with a sleek and stylish design. The other two guns are the M250 General Machine Gun and the M1911 Pistol.
For this PC Global Beta, servers are deployed in America (Silicon Valley, Virginia, Brazil), Europe (Germany, Finland), Oceania (Australia), and Asia (Japan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia).
The game supports 12 languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish.

Pre-downloads for the game are now available on the official website or from Steam. During gameplay, if you encounter bugs or glitches, you can report it from Settings – Customer Service or contact community managers on the official Discord server.
And for mobile users, the developers have asserted that the game is set to launch in January 2025.
