Trimui Brick retro gaming handheld mimics Game Boy design

Trimui Brick is a new compact retro gaming handheld with a 3.2-inch IPS display and resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels.

While there is a wide array of premium gaming handhelds in the market, there are hardly any gaming consoles that are pocket-friendly. The Trimui Brick could be among the budget retro handhelds and cost $64.99.

When one takes a look at this pocket-sized handheld gaming console, its design appears to be inspired by Nintendo‘s Game Boy. Nostalgic design is now combined with modern hardware.

Trimui Brick is powered Allwinner A133P CPU running at 1.8GHz and a PowerVR GE8300 GPU at 660MHz. With 1GB LPDDR3 DRAM and 8GB of built-in eMMC storage, there is sufficient room for retro games.

In case users demand more storage, the Trimui Brick 64GB is at $69.99, and 128GB for $79.99. Additionally, Trimui Brick comes with TF card expansion and a flash drive upgrade to expand storage.

This console touts a 3.2-inch display with a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. This is a 4:3 aspect ratio and 405 PPI high pixel density, which is considered excellent for a retro handheld.

The wireless WLAN 802.11 and BT2.1 allow flawless connections of accessories. The dual stereo speakers on the front side provide a good music experience. Also, there is a headphone jack at the bottom. The 3000mAh lithium polymer 3.7V battery powers the hardware, lasting up to 5 hours. USB Type-C interface supports 5V/2A charging.

Trimui Brick comes in Black, White, Red, and Purple, and has Trimui UI with Linux.
