It’s been a long development since Sony Entertainment Interactive announced the release of PlayStation 5 exclusive titles Final Fantasy XVI and God of War Ragnarok on PC. With the release of Final Fantasy XVI (September 17), and God of War Ragnarok’s upcoming release on September 19, NVIDIA has exciting preview drivers and benchmarks to share. These previews showcase the performance players can expect from these AAA console ports.

Nvidia’s Benchmarks on God of War and Final Fantasy XVI
With the increasing lineups for GeForce NOW, Nvidia claims that every title “integrating NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray-traced effects are released”, delivering a definitive PC experience for GeForce RTX players. Players owning GeForce RTX GPU or laptop have the day-one activation of DLSS 3 Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex available.
For God of War Ragnarok: With DLSS 3 on GeForce RTX 40 Series desktop GPUs, players can expect 2X FPS improvement and can play at 4K. Meanwhile, with DLSS 3 on GeForce RTX 4070, God of War Ragnarok maxed out at over 100 FPS. Moreover, 120 FPS, 144 FPS, and 200 FPS can be achieved with RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, RTX 4080 SUPER, and RTX 4090 respectively.
For Final Fantasy XVI: GeForce RTX 40 Series can multiply the experience by average of 2.7X at 4K. Meanwhile, GeForce RTX 4090 surpasses 170 FPS. Other GPUs from the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER to the GeForce RTX 4070 run FINAL FANTASY XVI at 4K max settings at over 90 frames per second.
