It’s been more than eight years since the official release of No Man’s Sky, still, it appears that the players haven’t had enough of it. With their creative minds, players tend to find new ways of enjoying the planets and lifeforms. For instance, a player recently tried fishing during a tornado, and the player eventually was catapulted into the air. This states that there are a few incidental things that developers forbid us to perform. But what if the developers themselves came up with an unusual forte?

A Reddit user and No Man’s Sky player, Choosingpoorlyftw, shared an intriguing discovery of a colorless planet, that gains vibrancy only during the stormy climate. The planet appears to be mostly black and white during normal conditions, with the narrow red bands of strong winds.

Storms completely alter this Planet in No Man’s Sky

Choosingpoorlyftw has spent over 70 hours on this planet and deemed it as the “coolest planet”. As you can see in the images given below, the planet starts emitting vibrant colors during the superheated storms. Water droplets on the planet even interact with the light rays to form a rainbow.

While the scientific reason to justify how the planet brights only during the storm is not disclosed, players are pretty amazed with such additions. From the comments, it seems most of the players were unaware of such a planet.

Moreover, the planet is worm-infested, embedded with flying worms. These worms offer black-and-white bioluminescence at night.

Players seem to be discovering pretty bizarre planets, just like Starfield. Have you ever discovered something strange? Let us know in the comment section below.
