On 19th September, Immersed announced its first VR glasses called the Visor, offering 5 ultra-high resolution 4K screens (right before your eyes), 4K per-eye resolution, and more pixels than a 4K big screen TV. No doubt the Immersed Visor is deemed the smallest 4K headset.

Immersed is a spatial computing device powered by a high-performance Qualcomm XR2+ Gen 2 chip with dual 4K micro-OLED displays that deliver stunning clarity and vibrant colors, making work like video production more productive and entertainment more immersive and engaging. It has an amazing 100-degree field of view and supports 6 degrees of freedom, furnishing the immersive experience in motion in 3D space.

This all comes in a sleek form that is even lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro. Interestingly, the Visor is even lighter than the Meta Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro. Theoretically speaking, making the glasses less heavier than its competitors indeed makes, Visor, stand different in the market. For instance, while Snap’s Spectacles clearly redefines Augmented Reality, due to its oversize, people might have a shift to slimmer hardware like Visor.

Similar to Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) in earphones, Visor utilizes Noise-canceling for your eyes that strikes off the distractions and enhances the focus. These glasses even allow you to co-work with your colleagues by sharing the screens with the collaborators around you.

However, unlike other VR glasses, Visor is specially designed for working environments where the work is done in quite an immersive way. It, wirelessly or wired, connects to Windows, macOS, or Linux computers. Still, Visor might not be the best fit for those looking forward to experience gaming.

Immersed Inc’s Visor’s Standard Edition is available for pre-order, starting at $1050. However, you can still get it for $400 if you agree to the subscription model; $40 monthly for 24 months or $60 monthly for a 12-month. Also, it is important to note that this edition will ship in April 2025.

If you want Visor glasses to ship very next month, you need to consider the Visor’s Founders Edition, priced at $1350.
