First 90 Minutes Gameplay of Silent Hill 2 Remake Surfaces Online, But This Time It’s Official

The first 90 minutes of gameplay of Blooper Team’s upcoming survival Silent Hill 2 Remake have been streamed online, and this time it’s not a leak, but this time it’s an official spray. No takedowns are expected. The official release of Silent Hill 2 Remake is expected on 8th October, 2024.

The 2BRO YouTube channel has uploaded a 90-minute video, providing the first look at the gameplay of Silent Hill 2 Remake. It is a part of a paid promotion with publisher Konami Digital Entertainment. And fun fact, eight years ago, it was the 2BRO YouTube channel that streamed Silent Hill 4: The Room. While the streaming is in Japanese, the game itself is in the English language, and the game begins with protagonist James Sunderland receiving a letter from his wife Mary, who was supposed to have died three years ago. In the hope of reuniting with his wife, James travels to Silent Hill, explores the town in search of clues, and eventually discovers one truth.

Even if you are looking forward to Silent Hill 2 Remake, proceed with the video cautiously, as it is full of spoilers. As per an IGN report, this 90-minute gameplay covers 10% of the original game, and it will take approximately 18 hours to complete Silent Hill 2 Remake.
