On revealing the release of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, back in June, Nintendo strongly hinted at the Amiibo feature incoming. While the news came as excitement, fans were still unaware of the details regarding Amiibo figures and their functionality. Now with better insights into the Amiibo feature, we have new details on its figures and functionalities.
The official Nintendo page reveals the Amiibo support on Switch’s The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. The Japanese page describes that scanning Amiibo will unlock useful items for Zelda’s adventure, new weapons, and different colors of clothing. However, the core functionality of the game is unlikely to change with the scan.
“In addition to items that will be useful for your adventure, you may also be able to get different colors of clothing that can be obtained in the game.”
