Recently, Bethesda introduced the first drivable land vehicle, Rev-8, as part of a new and free update, letting players wander the Starfield vast open world for the first time. Rev-8 is more than just a vehicle; it embeds jetpacks to travel across all terrains and is equipped with weapons to aid in combat. On traversing with the buggy, players are realizing that Rev-8 does more than merely stimulate the traveling time.
Posting on Reddit, user TopDesert_ace shared a clip of Rev-8 floating and running on water, sparking the discussion among the community for the inclusion of boats. As the buggy floats on water, the gaming community suspects and expects Bethesda Game Studios to expand into aquatic exploration by introducing boats and scuba. More interestingly, these inclusions will also include underwater POIs and missions.

Additionally, the Reddit community also expects the modders to take the lead and bring the boats into the vast seas. As most of you might know, modding includes the reskinning of a few mechanisms. And, in this instance, as the buggy already floats on water, it can be altered into a boat without undergoing intricate coding of buoyancy, water resistance, steering, or propulsion.

However, there appears much more complexion in merely reskinning the Rev-8 vehicle into a boat. Likewise, if the buggy floats on water, then the boat will run on land. Nonetheless, the mechanisms can still be achieved by considering some sophistication.
Rev-8 is more than just a vehicle
As mentioned earlier, Rev-8 does more than an ordinary rover vehicle. If used with an elaborate perspective, it appears that a small inclusion can alter the whole game. For instance, players are already turning Starfield into an automotive crime sim, like GTA.
An X (formally Twitter) user, PoweredbyidTech, shared a post that demonstrated the efficiency of the buggy in rampaging when driven in crowds.
Rev-8 is indeed an intriguing addition to the Starfield, and players are already enjoying it. Now let us await the release of Shattered DLC on 30th September.
