Since the release of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, no major additions have been introduced in the GTA 5 Online. A recent update of July 2024 fixes glitches and issues caused during mitchmatching thus increasing stability and performance of the game.
New Update for GTA Online Released for July 2024
First spotted by Tez2 on X, the new update has been rolled out fixing bugs and glitches commonly encountered by users worldwide. The character would freeze while entering the car has been fixed along with a bug related to controller input on the series console. Below are the patch notes of the update:

- General fixes for stability and security
- Fixed a networking issue that resulted in vehicles becoming inaccessible or invisible
- Fixed an issue where clicking “I have read and accept” text resulted in the “I accept” box being automatically selected and the form submitted
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players being unable to open the Privacy Policy when using a mouse
- Fixes an issue in the “Most Wanted – Thompson” mission cutscene where Thompson clips through the ground.
- Fixes an issue where tattoos overlap between characters & modes upon switching. This, along with the fix for unique tattoos, should resolve the two common tattoo bugs.
- Fixes an issue where the Career Progress “Secure all bounty targets alive” counter fails to register the delivery of a Standard Bounty target kept alive.
- Patches the glitch and support enabling early access to drip-feed clothing and outfits for female characters.
- Patches the glitch allowing the player to never fall off the bike.
- Patches the money glitch related to keeping the same Salvage Yard Robbery Target.
Considering the changes, there are a few glitches still remaining which are not taken into account. It includes disappearing of ammo and weapons unexpectedly or being unable to get cars out of the garage.
