After a long wait and speculations surrounding the Shattered Space DLC, the update is finally here. It introduced some features that many felt should have been added earlier. However, it’s not as if the players have uncovered everything that the game has to offer before the update. For instance, a Starfield player has encountered a peculiar Red Dot system, and most of us don’t even know it existed.
A Redditor QuasiCosmicEntity located a long chain of red dots, which appear to be explosive mines protecting beacon. Upon taking a closer look at other players’ reactions, most of them have never seen such peculiarity.
Another user Lumpy_Complex_8642 expresses experience regarding the similar Red Dot System in the Wolf System. He explained that the red dots were part of the main quest, and these were mines and defensive batteries. Other than this, it seems several quests mention it too.
The OP QuasiCosmicEntity has reached level 323 and this was the first time he had noticed these red dots. Nevertheless, the Red Dot chain is not the only mechanism that surprised players. Previously, a player discovered a planet full of invisible creatures. In addition, the planet Tirna II has a location filled with lava.
