The next sneak peek reveals a healer troop – Druid which will soon change the army composition and attack strategy for higher town hall levels.
Clash of Clans introduces a new troop of Druid in the next update
Druid is the newest troop coming in Clash of Clans, unlocks at Town Hall 14, and an upgrade level is available at each TH level. Druid has the majestic ability to heal twice the rate of healers, while low health or countdown transforms him into an angry bear attacking extremely fast.

How to unlock Druid in COC?
As Druid is available at TH14, upgrading Dark Barrack to level 11 unlocks the troop costing 14M elixir and upgrade time to 13 days.
- Level 1: Unlock from Dark Barrack Level 11
- Level 2: 250k dark elixir & 12 days time
- Level 3: 350k dark elixir & 14 day lab time
- Level 4: 375k dark elixir & 16 days upgrade time
How Druid is going to be a game-changer troop?

These are the stats of Druid that make him unique from healers. The healing rate is quite impressive along with the ability to heal air troops as well. At most 5 surrounding units are healed. Also, once the ability bar is maxed out, Druid transforms into Bear having hitpoints similar to Golem while damage higher than baby dragon.
With the arrival of Druid, the need for healers can be eliminated as heroes highly benefit from higher movement speed.
Best Tips & Tricks for Druid
- The duo of Druid and heroes is quite suitable to lead the attack
- Without the worry of air defense, air troops can be deployed, eliminating Lightning Spell
- Use a clone spell to double the amount of Druid and corresponding bear.
- Queen Walk requires no more than 1 Druid to save the army housing space
- All troops including Druid perform efficiently under the effect of a rage spell.
