Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a long-awaited sequel of the Stalker series was expected to be out in the early months of the year but has been delayed until September 5th, 2024. As per GSC Game World, fixing and improving Technical Imperfections is the reason behind the postponement.
Developers of Stalker 2, GSC Game World mark Heart of Chornobyl as the final release date, and unlikely to be changed in the future. Finally, players can continue the survival journey that was discontinued in Part 1 of the game.
Earlier to this announcement, players were promised S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 was expected in Q1 of 2024 during the Gamescom 2023 after several positive reviews of The Zone part.

According to Developers, “That, however, doesn’t change the fact that at the beginning of this year, we still witnessed a certain amount of technical imperfections that hold S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 below the expected standards for the final experience our fans are waiting for.”
As a response to this major announcement, Reddit sees mixed responses, some supporting the need for perfection while few express disappointment after a long wait to play. We may expect plenty of leaks of Stalker 2 similar to TLOU2 that excites the whole gaming community.
