Clash of Clans has shortened February’s Clan War Leagues duration for the first time. Along with the Lunar Update, plenty of events and challenges will be coming especially, two new season troops – Firecracker and Water Dragon.
COC Shortened CWL duration to avoid clashing with New Seasonal Troops and Events
To prevent both events from clashing with each other, CWL which usually lasts for 8 days has been reduced to 5 days. Earlier it used to last from the first week while at this time, from 1st Feb to 6th Feb.
Once CWL ends, players can enjoy the Lunar Update of 2024 with increased loot and rewards. Players need to change their attacking strategies as new temporary but impactful units would alter the game plan for a while.
“But worry not! We will be giving Clans 2 extra Bonus League Medals (the ones Clan Leaders can award to players in the War roster), in addition to more War Loot, and we’ll make it so that getting promoted will be easier, and getting demoted harder than usual.”
Firecracker
From the @ClashUpdateX leaks, Firecracker is Clash Royale’s impressive unit making its season debut to COC. With housing space of 10, attacks air and ground with area splash, it is worth it to play troops.
Below are statistics based on each town hall level and its effectiveness. Make a good army composition to three stars using Firecracker.
Water Dragon
We already have Dragon, Electro Dragon but Supercell plans to deliver Water Dragon in this upcoming update. Instead of fire, this unit would destroy defenses with ice and water mixture.
With high hitpoints and area damage, troops are pretty useful but consume a whopping 40 housing spaces.
