Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition Will Not Be a Limited Edition

The publishing director of Larian Studios, the developers behind Baldur’s Gate 3, has confirmed the Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t be a limited edition. With the current stock holding steady, he urged players not to go for preorders at higher prices.

Deluxe Editions, being mostly limited items, tend to go out of stock very quickly. Trends follow the process of being price doubling on reseller websites. This merely benefits the sellers, more than the actual gamers. So, this might be a very welcome move, likely to be praised.

Even though the Deluxe Edition is set to ship in the first quarter of the next year, the pre-orders are live on the official Baldur’s Gate 3 website, priced at $79.99 for PC, Xbox, and PS5. However, in contrast, the reseller websites are listing the same edition between $200 to $300.
